Although we had high wind warnings and the wind was outrageous last night, the weather has been warm. So much for Winter. Today’s winds weren’t bad but as I write it is 89 degrees here in Sheckyville. So what else to do? Murray and I spruced up the porch, gave it some flowers and then pulled up a seat with a cup of coffee.
I think Spring is going to be really early here this year. I may eat my words in a month or two if the rainy season starts. I actually love the rain so its no big deal, but when walking the gardens I see the buds every where. I hope we do have Winter… *I love me a turtleneck*.
Pulling up a seat and hanging out on days like this are nice. Murray loves the lizard action here and after planting more flowers a good cup of Joe is always nice to keep me going.
Rule of Sheckyville: Pull up a seat to take the day in each day and every day of the year with the feet up. Add a cup of your fave sip even if it is just for a few minutes and relax. Recharging is good, easy and a must.
