   We replaced our asphalt shingles with a metal-shingle roof that looks like regular shingle, but one disappointment is that the sounds of rain do not come through nearly as loudly as we expected.😌 Apparently the underlayment, besides providing additional protection for the sheathing, also muffles the sound substantially.
   But we can always open a window on the leeward side of the house and listen. Thanx! c.a.

   Rain can be a pain when you’re caught in it, but I love the sound of it, on windows, and rooftops, and skylights.

   We could sure use that rain here in dry central California. Hubby and I enjoy the video.

      I am here too. We had it in the canyons last night with some thunder and lightning. I was thinking I wish we could have this once a week. Wouldn’t that be nice.
