~Bunny Hill~
This year I found out that Bunny wasn’t really overweight but pregnant instead. So she has been renamed to Mama Bunny. She has two little ones and I have been watching them play in the yard, but tonight I saw only one and I captured a couple of photos before Baby ran away.
I haven’t seen Mama Bunny in a couple of days but the kids are around. She may have ditched them already for vacation. I hope she is alive and well, but as an element of nature, there are other animals that feed on these little guys for din din around here and as long as my mind doesn’t *go there* I can’t fret about the thought.
Speaking of din din, my lawn isn’t doing too well with this little herd. I watched this one for awhile appreciate my time and effort planting it until I started to approach him/her with the camera in hand. Baby Bunny went into the frozen mode when I got about 10 feet away then it looked at me and ran away lickity split and just like that the mother nature moment was over for the eve.
I will post updates as I see them so cross your fingers they all show up and are alive. They are so darn cute!
Dig The Dirt & Stay Healthy.
Til next time,
Mrs. Shecky
My fingers are crossed to get a glimpse of her babies. Wonderful entry for this week. 😀
Great photos!! I wish I could get that close!
Thank you, I actually took off my normal Canon 200 lens and used one I got years ago, a Tamron 300. I had forgotten how light it was and closer it got so I am keeping that one on for awhile.
It certainly captured some beautiful close-ups!
Maybe the little ones will survive anyway? Nature does as Nature wishes…
True. I won’t disturb it unless I am suppose to.
