~Fall~
Inside
Autumn has arrived on the calendar. Mr. Creepy came out of the shed last week and now the pumpkins have found their place inside among other little do dads for the Fall days. And even though it is triple digits here today, dried up leaves and pumpkins are very welcome to get the mood of Autumn rolling in.
The foyer is the place for most of the glass pumpkins. Every year I collect a couple more from the vintage shops and local hobby stores. This year has been a bit harder because of the slow re-opening of places, but there is still more time for meandering to find more decor before Fall closes out this year.

Getting different heights for display is as easy as pulling out crystal and glass candlesticks. A vintage cigarette lighter with the top pulled off worked for one of the larger ones and some vintage ashtrays were used for stands as well.

Holiday decorations are a lot of fun. I have saved things from the day I moved out of my parents’ house. Is it time to get rid of some? Probably, but each time I go to clear out the boxes, I lose my will to do so. If I did I would probably have some weird pumpkin nightmare and then I would have to dig out the throw aways in the middle of the night like Lon Chaney turning into the Werewolf. Doesn’t look pretty on me.

Little vintage looks are something I need. Yes, I said need. I am addicted to vintage and vintage-like things of the past. Aren’t these little faces cute?! I like reminiscing nostalgic style when holidays come.

Every room gets a little do-dad including the bar. With comforters coming out Fall is forced into place. If only the weather was right. As they say, “before you know it…”

The kitchen received the white pumpkins and gourds.

Til next time…
Happy Fall

Wow!
Looking very festive!
It’s beginning. I want to say one year… no, but somehow I can’t.
Haha, good. If it does no harm and makes you happy then do it and enjoy 🙂
Your decorations and home are beautiful! 😊
Ahh, thank you John! We spent 5 years renovating and finally I get to have some holidays here.
That’s wonderful! 😊
