No, the plate is culinary and can actually be baked on to 500 degrees and left in a warmer. I have a few of them that I serve hot food on and the food stays warm for a long time. I don’t think a Corelle can get that hot? Corning too? Those are fun keepers. Others contain led and such – yuk.
