~Pull Up A Seat~
After a few days of floods, mandatory evacuations, and now more rain and lightning, I am pulling up a seat in the library and, well, that’s it. The town got flooded. The creek over flowed and mud invaded and took out property, cars, and put a stop to any traffic for an undetermined amount of time. In the meantime, where I am, rains hit us good but not as bad as the town. We are good and I am inside looking out.
Til next time stay safe and enjoy the moments because sometimes, if not all of the time, we just don’t have a choice.

Thank you, yes, the town is recovering. People that live here are hard-skinned, but I think I am getting too old for it.

Glad you weren’t flooded. Here in North Wales we know something about rain but glad to say I’ve never experienced my home being taken over. It’s bad enough when the garden is taken over! Perhaps an excuse to put feet up with a cuppa!
I think you are in the best chair, actually. I’m glad you guys weren’t flooded, It’s been raining on and off in Vegas since yesterday. I don’t know about any flooding here since I pay zero attention to any ‘news’, and get my weather from my devices. Stay warm and dry. 😊
