~Tea Walks – 6~

Today’s Tea Walk was a good one.  I walked into this guy.  It was a nice surprise so I stopped to admire and take some photos.  This is Jr.  His dad was killed by a car about a month ago.  At first, I only saw him but if you take a look…

…on the left, you will see a little one resting which he is protecting while a couple of other family members are off to the right eating.  I didn’t even realize this until I put the card into the computer to resize.   It was a nice thing to see them all.  I thought they may have all been killed by a coyote, mountain lions or even human hunting season.  So seeing them all brought a nice smile and a nice exhaling breath.

This family of 6 has been coming around for a few months now since the fires.  So far they are eating leftover plants.  I have moved a bunch around and replanted many here and there.  They are hungry and eating the garlic which they supposedly do not care for.  I’m okay with that.

Here they are coming down a little further.  Always on the lookout.  There are two more in front of them that can’t be seen in this photo because of foliage.

The three here finally noticed me.  They really were not bothered at all.  I moved slowly and continued to watch, but finally, they turned and walked away.

They stayed for about an hour or so and then headed up to Flamingo Hill and the new Long And Wineding Road. The Long and Wineding Road is just what it says it is.  Wine

bottles and other selections on another area of the property stuck in leftover rebar.  It is built as a guardrail so to speak and helpful as an edge barrier.  It is an area I am going to use as a re-use of this and that’s.  Its beginning to be a lot of fun.  I am wondering how many snakes may like it too…*no thank you*

After today’s TW, I have decided to get a longer telescopic lens for the camera. *Haven’t decided on one to get yet tho*. These were taken with 70-200 on 5D Mark III and then cropped. I would like to have one so that the need for cropping isn’t a habit on these occasions. Flamingo Hill and The Long And Wineding Road were taken on the new Note9. It’s good enough for a quick snap, but when I traded the old phone in I kinda promised myself not to use it that much which is hard to do sometimes.  But then again, that will probably be more useful than I think.

Tea Walk #6 is now in the books.  I should be posting more, however, I am still, yup still in construction but that is ending soon and we are looking forward to changes and moving forward.  Change is good. *Smiling*.
