~The White Bench~
“Four-fifths of all our troubles would disappear, if we would only sit down and keep still.” ~ Calvin Coolidge

The White Bench was here when we bought the place. It’s moved a few times and I think now I’ve found the perfect spot for it.

Up the back of the property is a second bridge. A small hike, but the bench is good to have there for resting under another oak. We have quite a few oak trees and sitting under them is wonderful for shade and to relax and listen to the birds.

It’s quite heavy being made out of rot iron so I don’t see moving it anytime in the near future. With a few potted plants and cushions it will be good to go for the summer garden work and just to pull up a seat on the morning walks.

This bench is so pretty!!
Thank you! We got lucky with that one 🙂
Lovely bench. So much detail in the wrought iron. The white color makes it cheerful. Thanks for playing along.
Thank you, the challenge is a fun one considering everything on this blog is all at home. I love looking at everyone’s entries.
It is an inspiring challenge. I am still putting the yard together so taking a break for pulling up a seat is a fun one.
The details are so pretty!!
Thank you Michelle 🙂
