~Poppies~

The Flower Of The Day is the California Poppy which is starting to sprout in the garden.  This was the first one to pop up in the yard and true to it’s nature this wildflower likes to be the first to do just that.    

The Golden Poppy is a perennial and with all the rains we had I hope to see the canyon covered in them as last year’s vision was. 

According to the Google Gods, “The California Poppy helps the soul to gather its forces of light and warmth so that they can radiate within the chalice of the heart as an enduring presence”.  I am liking that.
