~Messy~
Well it’s not only kind of messy, it’s a real mess messy. Things are getting repainted and I am adding texture to the walls so this is my pull up a seat spot for the next couple of weeks.

I keep having words with the painters about not pushing my desk into me while I am sitting working, so I compromised on this much space. It is doable. While seated there I actually had a flashback to a job I once had that didn’t give me much more room than this at my desk for the day. It was a nightmare working there because I could actually feel the woman who sat behind me breathing down my neck, literally. I quit after a month at that job.

I do love a project though. Really I do. In fact, this room will become a bedroom now. Since everything is moved around I will be getting rid of the desk and going for it. I have another idea for my future workspace and that will be a fun project so I am hopeful no deja vu will be at large.

Seems this seat may even be on vacay soon until all is done if I can’t move in it. Considering this place has taken over 5 years of my life to accomplish, another two weeks is nothing to wait…. patience *so they say*.
Til next time,

Been there! I must be so frustrating at times. But it’s nice that soon you’ll be getting a new place to work! I could really use a new space as well. Can’t wait to see how this bedroom turns out! I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award! I apologize if you’ve already been nominated.
Ahh, thank you very much for the nomination, but I am an award free site. But again I am honored and yes, I am so excited to remake the space and call it a space all my own. Thanks for stopping in 🙂
Oh, my! That looks pretty stressful! My hubby is planning to paint next month…looks like things will be turned upside down for a while. But the finished product will be worth it. Stay strong!
Thanks, I needed that. Today is even messier! Good luck with the painting, cover, cover and more cover. 🙂
People often quit management, not the job in my experience. I’ve done that too. I hope the home is being painted with brushes and rollers, my place was repainted last year with the spray thing. What a sickening mess it was!
I suppose that is what I did. The management did nothing and the lady behind me was the manager of the pool I was in. She also was happy I was there because I knew what I was doing, however, she didn’t like it that I came in early to get things done that was left over from the other employee. I got sick of her. I left. They were shocked. The boss even offered me a raise to stay. I said no. that choice was a good one.
Good for you! You would have had to put your own ‘rules’ in place to stay there, not worth it. I walked out because the manager who was retired military, talked at me, through me and down to me. And I was a few years older too. No respect for your employee there buddy? Smell ya later.
