It has been one heck of a past few weeks with changing a couple of rooms around and getting more storage and craft space, but it has been accomplished. Moving the work desk to another area to keep the ugly out of sight has left space for a bedroom originally planned and a great place to pull up a seat during the day and write on the laptop. The craft room has still much to do, but I think this room is finally done and we are on our way to finishing this house finally.
I am calling this room The Grandparents Room. It houses my Great Aunt’s rocker, GGG Grandmas chairs and sampler. With the walls painted a green and rust, the desk and cabinet’s wood looks even older. A character I really enjoy.
In the past couple of days this room has become my favorite so far. It’s cozy, warm, and has heritage. The best to pull up a seat and read a book in. Everyone needs a comfort zone, no matter where it is. I just like to wallow up in old stuff surrounding me with a little bit of history.
Thanks for stopping in.
Til next time,
