The old books are just beautiful to look at. Art in itself 🙂

      1. I’m trying desperately not to be envious where did you find them?

        1. iammrsshecky says:

I have found most in book stores for a couple of buck each, but these I got on e-bay. It was the luck of the draw and I think I got some pretty good ones 🙂

          1. Yes! A used hardcover of “Family Shoes” by Noel Streatfeild is listed on Amazon for $902!!

What an adorable bookcase that is above the window and all the wonderful books to read. Nothing like having great light to read by.

I love these! I have an old arithmetic book and an literature book I found in an antique shop for $1. There’s writing in both where they took notes. 🙂

    1. iammrsshecky says:

Right! Those books taught it all back then and it is fun to see the teachings of the past.

  5. I too always like to have a copy of Farm Soils to hand ;-p

It is fun to read in the no www land of the past. 🙂

      1. Hehe, yes. In all seriousness, I do like flicking through old books like that! 🙂
