~Tea Walks #7~

It rained and the heat went down a bit. Perfect timing for a morning Tea Walk. So I grabbed the umbrella, Cellzilla and a cup of tea and out we all went to check out the yard.

There are plenty of leaves on the ground. That all has to get raked up. We have no path wide enough for any vehicle so a blower and rake has to do the job. We have V-Ditches up here for the flow of water and those are cleaned regularly. Its a lot of work.

Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save those snails.

Getting on one of the paths is like playing hopscotch. One foot here and one foot there or else there is a disastrous *crunch*… and I can’t stand that certain crunch. I am sure it is probably why I do not like Escargot…

The cable bridge looks really good. The holiday lights are still dangling on it from last year. We had the fire after I got the place decorated and I never took these down. Just didn’t have it in me after that.

The colors of Fall are coming in and knowing we are not done with the heat is disappointing but right now with today’s rain I am enjoying it.

On the walk I noticed we had a death in the family. One of the Pink Floymingos didn’t survive the move of the clan. After the relocation it looks like this roadie was left behind. The plants did not survive the heat either.

All in all it was a nice little walk in the sprinkles of Sheckyville.
