Are those cicadas? Or crickets? I love their sounds. We have spring peeper frogs up here that sound a bit similar. But they are silent now.

  I think they are crickets. I am not sure how to tell the difference, but we have little frogs too. Unfortunately the animals have a gourmet yard here…

    We have toads in the summer. They fall into the pool and have to be rescued! But they do not make any noises so our nights are still at this time of year .

  Last night was a really beautiful one for the last day of Summer. BTW… it doesn’t feel like Fall being triple digits here today. Ughghg…I am sure it is just as hot where you are too.
