~Taking A Load Off~
Its been nice the last few days and a lot of yard work is being done in Sheckyville. Clearing out the side yard has got my back out of wack a bit and taking a load off my feet, as they say, was essential. The seat in the front was convenient enough and the view was very pretty today.
The view has been seen before on this blog, but everyday I see something new in it. This was the perfect spot to take a rest and snap a couple of pics from Cellzilla.
Mr. Murray decided to join me and he pulled up a seat under the table. *Lizard hunter*. When he found out there wasn’t any there he meandered behind me to get into the shade for a better view. *He is wearing his spotting scope*
The sky has been beautiful the last couple of days and the weather is just about right with the temp lowering. I hope you enjoy pulling up a seat to enjoy the days ahead. Relax and take it all in because before you know it the weather will change again.
Thanks for stopping in.
Til next time,
Love the fence shadows on “The Porch” picture.
Thank you Betty, it was a good time of the day to be a part of the lighting 🙂
Beautiful view. You are right to put your feet up for a bit with that view!
Thank you, I like to sit there and listen to horses too. They are on a ranch below us.
Wonderful view, but I like more clouds. 😉
Yesterday and today in Kentucky, we’ve had a beautiful cover of thick clouds without rain and temps in the low 60s! My kinda days!
Oh, that’s perfect weather. Come Monday we are suppose to get another rain storm. Then two days after that up into the high 80s. Crazy weather.
Kentucky has been and remains in the low 60s; about to turn our furnace on, but it’s reaching the 70s come Monday.
But next week our highs are in the 50s so by Tuesday we’ll start burning some fossil fuels. 😔
Fall has come early here, but the heat seems to linger and the rains are a tease. Kentucky sounds wonderful.
For our first 10 years here, we kept trying every year to leave, but Father kept closing the Exit doors.
We resigned ourselves to living here and amazingly everything seemed to fall into place.
There’s no better place to be than in the center of God’s will. 😉
In the meantime, bracing for another very COLLLLD winter! 😁
