Most of my family thinks lizards of any kind are too close to the Serpent in Genesis 3. I certainly do not have herpetophobia, and though I do not love the cool little (and sometime NOT so little) creatures as much as a blogging friend (https://lizardplanet.com/), I could enjoy the company of an intelligent gila monster, flying lizard or horned ‘dragon’ as you show here. Komodos tend to get a little too big for my comfort zone, but they ARE fascinating. 😉

This is the first time I have gotten close to one and touched it. It is fascinating and when looked at up close it looks like a dinosaur as we know would imagine them to be. Really incredible creatures and this one was friendly albeit it had a leash on it as a pet.
Lulu: “Dragon!!!”
