~Celebration Weekend~
Mrs. Shecky had a couple of people over for a birthday celebration. No, not Mrs. Shecky’s she is forever 21 and will not grow up so she quit having them. In saying that she is glad she still is around to cook for everyone else who does have one.
Baking a brie is always a cinch but the pastry dough was a little thin and it burst. All worked out though and it was just as tasty with a nice little garlic and onion jam baked in it. Everyone was going out to dinner so this made the perfect wine snack. We just scooped it up instead.

It showered a bit and it was a relief. We had the arsonist show up again and having that bit of water on the ground was a nice reprieve from fires for the night.
The garden is looking some what bright now too. Flowers are starting to come up and more bulbs this year.

The rain sure did pop the green up. In a couple of months it will be so dry this will look like a desert.
This Japanese Maple has shot up this year. It was transplanted from 1 of 5 little leaves from Northern California. This was the only one that made it and it is thriving.

Waking up and finding the clouds disappearing was a pretty sight to see, although the rain is appreciated more here. It certainly was a nice morning moon to view.

And there is a little diddy weekend rain and celebration and Whatsoever Is Lovely from Sheckyville to you.
Til next time.

Happy Un-birthday, Mrs. Shecky. If you remember the Mad Hatter’s party, you’ll recall we have LOTS more un-birthdays than birthdays, so let’s have cake (or burst brie pastries) every day! 😋
❤️&🙏, c.a.
I could always change my name to Mrs. Shtuffy! Haha! Thank You 🙂
Yes!!
The terrain around there is beautiful, your food looks so delicious! Someone is still trying to light a forest fire?
Yes John, and it’s the same guy! Ugh?
I hope he was arrested!
Nope. He got away
Pretty spectacular weekend. My mouth is watering looking at your beautiful hors oeuvres.
It sure was and thank you. Very simple but tasty😊
