The Shecky Shack is happening these days. Since Mr. Murray left for the rainbow bridge, the shack has been a refuge of sorts. While recharging, Mrs. Shecky has been doing some bargain hunting to take up space and time *good excuse to get out*. The blogs have suffered some, but now its write, decorate, or cook. *Think she will have a crack at it all…*
The little kitchen was calling out for some counter stools that Mrs. Shecky was actually comfy with. The other set was OK but very uncomfortable for the Shecky Seat of Mrs. Shecky. After a little hunting around in the Five & Dime stores *yes, she still calls thrift stores 5&10 – giving away the age thing*, Mrs. Shecky found these to please her happiness and peace of bottom mind. A good $35.00 for the pair and out the door she lugged them into the car for her future comfy zone.

No holes in the fabric or dents on the wood and they fit just fine under the tiny counter. They are a little larger than the other stools, but the cushions are a nice reason to love them just a tad larger than the previous holders of fannies. Mrs. Shecky says they are just perfect.
They seem to blend in with the antiques that own the place. The previous black ones did not. So the kitchen is now pretty much complete in the Shecky Shack Of All Shackdom DIYs. Finally.

So what’s the secret to Mrs. Shecky finding great bargains?
Here’s one tip from Mrs. Shecky: Patience.
There will always be a bargain so don’t get something just because. There will always be deal out there coming along. Wait until you find something you like. They will come… *wink*
Til next time,
