The rains have been driving me crazy on top of this sheltering in time.  Being outside in the garden has been my saving grace, and raining for a couple of weeks here has done me no good.  I can’t eat all that I bake either although you would think I do these days.

We did get a bit of sunshine though.  Enough to get out and do some gardening and to finally check out the hill.  The snails got to my new plants in the mini garden, but then I got to them *Epson salt*.  It seemed to work and a new planter was made for the mini estates. *snail chimes anyone?*

The *not so secret garden* got some cleaning in between the rains.  I moved the table up there now to have the shed close for sitting relief while potting and building.  A new place for myself underneath a tree and giant overgrown bush will help with the sun when Summer comes. I hear later this week we are into summer temps again. From one extreme to the other.

It seems that the whole place is becoming mini-fied.  It had been so long since visiting the She She’d that I had forgotten about the minis up there  *old forgetful brain*.  It seems I am not alone with this new hobby and I have connected with others on Instagram under what my husband calls me, Mrs. Shecky

Oodles of seed packets sprouted on the kitchen window sill during the rains.  Most were planted in tea bags to propagate.  Some worked, some didn’t.  But this makes the planting so much easier.

Finally, another hillside was planted with lawn seed.  When we first moved in we hired someone to layout sod. What a waste of money.  One day we decided to just go to the store and get a bag of lawn seed for another hill, and $80 later we have perfect lawn growth.  Lessons learned. We are on hill #3.  Piece of cake except the deer like it too.  Now the clover field will be seeded for them again farther out so they can veg there. Pics to come on that…

I’m a little late in posting here.  Why?  I dunno.  There’s absolutely no reason because I had nothing else better to do so there is no excuse.  I hope this lazy time will pass soon.  I wasn’t built for it.
