~A Freshening Up~

A bit of this can change the whole look.

This little table set was ready to either throw or go into the spray paint waiting line. I am glad it ended up in line. From chipped black to off white it changed in just a day and was ready to pull up a seat and relax.

You may have guessed by now we have a large space here at Sheckyville. It has been a bit overwhelming with the renovations but with most of that out of the way I have been able to concentrate on the aesthetics, my favorite part.

Having collected a bunch of outdoors sets, benches, and just stuff from dumpster diving, I can now start restoring them back to life. This one goes on the other side of the same room as the wicker set from last weeks pull up a seat. It is an en-suite room with 2 sets of french doors.

The more comfy the better.
I could probably use one more coat.

This set is pretty sturdy. Just a tightening up here and there but it holds the umbrella well. I normally don’t like to put umbrellas into the tables, but this is working out fine in the full sunshine on that side of the house. It gets hot.

All in all I am happy with it’s freshening up and I am on to the next set tomorrow.

I hope all are staying healthy in this time of COVID. Patience is our only way out of this mess.

Til next time…

That brand of paint is really good stuff, I’ve used it for years. The furniture looks good in the photos! 🌞

Amazing. It covers up rust with a bit of prep if needed, and always looks good. Brilliant people….
