~Garden Visitors~

The fires sure have given us more visits to the gardens. These guys were here last year and it was good to see them again. This one stuck around long enough for me to grab the camera after noticing him through my dirty, ashy window.

There were two but this one was right close by enough to take a photo. The other was down the path a bit. He is a bit older and had a rack of beauty, while this one is a bit younger.

I think I will name him “Poser”.

Maybe I will name him “Scrambler” instead.

He decided better to go than to deal with me and the camera

I still do not tire of seeing the wildlife here. Sure, some of it is scary, but these creatures are sure a beauty to see.

  They sure are beautiful to be seen. I cleaned my windows yesterday just so I don’t disturb them in the future.

Great shots!! Isn’t it wonderful when you have time to grab your phone and capture them in the garden like that. This one was a beauty!

  Yes, thank you! I actually took these with my 5D. Luckily I still had it right close in case we needed to get out for another fire. It is a suitcase life until fire season is over unfortunately.

    Gah, that sounds awful but the glimmer of a bright side is that you had the camera at hand! Funnily enough, a group of four walked through the garden a few hours after I read your post!! Stay Safe!!
